As far as the storyline goes I think he did because the night after Vince won the belt on Raw Shane asked to see the belt. Vince gave him a concerned look and then he let him hold it. Also Shane was getting tired of being Vince's guinea pig. Umaga too probably. They got tired of fighting all Vince's battles for him.Did Shane kill Vince so he could gain control of the company?
