yet, please help!I am applying as a quality control in a company, i need an application letter, what should i say?
Call the American Society for Quality (ASQ) at 800-248-1946 and ask if there is a Section/Chapter near where you live. If so, get a contact name and number from ASQ and call that person.
1) You will want to start attending some of the local meetings. If there is a dinner, just ask to go to the presentation. This is a great networking opportunity.
2) As the contact if they know anyone who works at the company that you want to apply to. You might be able to get some inside information and may be able to meet someone from the company at on of the monthly meetings.
3) Ask about local training / refresher couses that you might be able to take. It would be better to talk the classes after you start work, however, by going through the classes as soon as possible, it should help you chances of finding work. That is because others in the classes or the instructors might be able to give you contact leads as well.
Any of these things can help you prepare you cover letter to the organization you are trying to get into.
