Would a truck driving company ever hire someone with a heart disease that Is under control, they just have to take medicine for it? I also haven't had surgery in nearly seven and a half years.Would a Truck Driving company ever hire a person who has a heart disease that is under control?
After you get your CDL license you will have to take a physical and with your condition you may not qualify.Would a Truck Driving company ever hire a person who has a heart disease that is under control?
Most likely, no. Unless you get passed by a physician for the DOT physical (I'm obviously not a qualified doctor to say for sure yes or no), I believe that's one of the things that would disqualify you.

If the heart disease is more than tightly controlled mild to moderate hypertension,probably not.
