as Bushco pledges lifetime war drums on evil doers of the world paid for by tax money.?perhaps a TIME magazine man of the year? How will low to middle class people be affected by the out of control insane spending of Sir Bush %26amp; company?
According to the rules of YA, your question is considered a rant and can be removed with the click of my mouse. But I leave that to bed wetting Liberals who have no response to the obvious.
To answer your ';question';. Congress writes the budget and spends the money. Bush has been in office for almost 7 years, any damage he is going to do is already done.
As for me, because I am a Conservative and voted for Bush, I got not only tax breaks, but extremely profitable civilian war contract even though I do absolutly nothing, produce nothing, send nothing. I just sit back and count the money. As a bonus, I recieved a large amount of stock in Exxon.
You should have voted for Bush and bought stock in Exxon yourself and you too could be raking in the benifits of his War for Oil. Instead, you will get a copy of Al Gore's ';An Inconvienient Truth'; on VHS ($14.95 + SH) or DVD (19.95 + SH) or special 2 disc collection with bounus features including an interview with Nobel Peace Prize winning Director, Producer, Actor, Academy Award winner, almost Time Magazine's Person of the Year, and former VP Al Gore for only $39.95 + SH). Order know and they will throw in a full color poster of a Polar Bear stranded on a block of ice. But wait, order today and we will include this signed photgraph of the Nobel Prize winning Producer, Director, Actor, Academy Award winner, almost Time Magazine's Person of the Year, former VP Al Gore, suitable for framing. Operators are standing by.
So how has your personal life been ruined by Bush? I am doing better now than when he took office. Actually, I was laid off with 1307 other of my co-workers from the country's largest semi-truck manufacturing plant less than 2 months BEFORE the election during this country's greatest economy in 40 years. At the time the unemployment in our area was almost 12% due to all the manufacturing plants closing and moving south of the border. And Gore wonders why he lost the South? As of now our area is less than 5%.
So you can take all your bitching about how Bush has ruined the great economy that Clinton left us and stick it in your ear. You seem to have plenty of empty space up there. How will low to middle class people be affected by the out of control insane spending of Sir Bush %26amp; company?
Congress spends my friend not the President and your DummyRat congress's ratings are even lower than Bush's. Basically you guys had a shot and blew it.
I won't assume what the hell it is you want to know. A 10 year old could make better sentences. Why not begin with the basics, leave the rhetoric out and ask a clear and concise question.
I used to believe Congress controlled the spending, but I've seen how Bush can veto his way into the rights formerly reserved for congress.
Someone has to be responsible for carrying on the country's business, and all Bush is interested in is getting money for his war and his friends.
One vote isn't enough to overturn those vetoes, six of them in the past year, some of those bills that are bipartisan.
How will low to middle class people be affected?
They will drop to lower lower class, and lower middle class.
Amen to the democrats in Congress voting in favor on spending money.
Congress spends the money!!!!! We, the American citizens, needs to pay more attention in what actually is being passed onto us, the taxpayers. Write your congressmen and senators if you do not like what you see or hear. The American Citizen needs to WAKE UP fast and take back OUR country.
Stagflation, sky high interest rates, weak dollar and all this means higher and higher taxes at all levels of government, thou services will be cut and few programs added.
Democrats voted and passed the budget. Without that, Bush wouldn't even be able to sign it. So, if you're going to blame Bush, you better be blamming them too.
What is the Democrat congress approval ratings?...oh that right, the lowest in history. Even lower then the president.
Congress controls the money
they're screwed.
o lord. Well you got it mixed up as most people do. Middle class is not being affected at this moment by the war and its cost although it will trust me it will. It is being affected by his tax policies of giving more tax breaks to the rich and not to the middle class nor poor. This tax system most affects middle class. Which is where this question should be directed more instead of toward the spending controll on iraq which is pretty obvious where you were going with it
Actually they (read: we) won't as long as he is not deficit spending. As long as Congress approves spending and that spending comes from revenues, we'll be okay.
Now, when he begins spending from borrowing on the world market or from Treasury bonds, it will cost us.
Based on the number of times that I have seen this question posted in various terms it is obvious that there is money being spent that does not need spending. There should be no money appropriated for education because it is not being used to educate. The Constitution states that ALL spending bills must originate in the House of Representatives. The President does not write the budget bills. He only sends a wish list and the house is not even obligated to even consider it if they don't want to.
Last time I checked Congress appropriates all money, the President doesn't make the bills.
All he can do is suggest, and it is up to Congress to either say yes or no.
So if you want to blame anyone, blame Pelosi and Reid, after all, they were the ones ranting and raving about how the money for the bill funding the war would never be signed by the Democrats.
I guess at the 11th hour, in the middle of the night, they had a change of heart, or maybe the polls told them it wasn't a wise decision for them not to sign it.
